Network Marketing Has Nothing To Do With “Selling”

I was only “4 sentences” into the “Magnetic Sponsoring” manual when I realized…

This is going to be “pretty damn good“! 

The sentence was..

Please do not make this mistake:  Thinking that your product is your product,  and that it has “anything” to do with your overall success.

Finally..

After “ALL” the cassettes, books, seminars, and thousands of dollars spent..  

After 10 years “studying” all the “in’s and out’s” of this industry..

I stumble on to a little $40 “HOW TO” manual, that knew, what I had known for some time..

“Network Marketing has Nothing to do With Selling”.

After 10 years in this industry I really believed, in fact I was absolutely convinced that is a “lack” of understanding the “HOW TO” of attracting the right type of people..
 
That has “most” people failing in this industry.

And do you want to know the real sad truth?

I don’t really believe it’s their fault.. 

In fact, I’m really willing to bet,  that MOST of the people that are failing in Network Marketing,  are really good, honest, and hardworking people.

But  here’s the problem ..  

Most of them are trying to build a business by duplicating, or by perpetuating the bad habits or the bad behaviors of the “majority”.

And, in an industry where 90% (plus) of the people are failing, it has become a real case of the “blind leading the blind”!

These people were most likely introduced to an opportunity through a lot of “Hype and Manipulation”,  and as a result,  what they did was,  they ended up buying into “somebody else’s dream”.

Now it was either that, or somebody came along and “SOLD” them on the “who, what, when, where, and why” of a network marketing opportunity.

Then do you know what most of these people try to do?

They attempt to do the “exact same thing”.

They run around yelling…

“Get in quick”..

or “Hurry up before it’s to late”..  

Some are plastering signs on their cars and harassing friends, relatives, neighbors, and everyone within 3 feet..

Others are roaming the streets “absolutely delirious” over the fact that that some lost civilization has been discovered in the south pacific, they have the magic berry, and you can now live to be 400 years old.

These people are all promoting “hype” and they are all selling 24 hours a day, 7 days a week..   

And here’s the “worst of it”..

These people are doing more harm than good, to an industry that most of them profess to really care about.

See..

This is the thing that most of these people “Do NOT Know”!!

“Network Marketing has Absolutely Nothing to do with Selling”!

You can not sell the “HOW TO” of this business,

You can only “teach it”.

You cannot sell a Lifestyle,

You can only “teach it”.

You cannot sell Prosperity and Abundance,

You can only “teach others” how to achieve it.

Almost everyone has heard of the parable where..

If you give a man a fish – you feed him for a day..

If you “teach” a man to fish - you feed him for a lifetime..

A “Network Marketer” that provides you with just a vehicle, or just a system and then leave you to figure it all out and fend for yourself…

These people are in essence feeding you for a day.

Network Marketers that will provide you with the right vehicle, and the right system, and then take the time to “TEACH” you how to build a “long term distribution organization”…

These people can feed you for a “Lifetime”.

Think about this for a minute..

Think about the person that built the most successful, the biggest, and the longest lasting down line of “all time”…

Jesus!

Jesus recruited 12 of the finest everyday misfits of his time,  and today Christianity is alive, well, and it reaches into almost every corner of the globe.

How was this accomplished?

I mean How Did He Do It?

Jesus didn’t have the internet, a website, or a you tube video..

He Never owned a fax machine or cell phone…

He never created an album, a cd, or produced 45 Personal Power Videos..  

Jesus never had a publicist or Agent..

He never appeared on letterman or Leno..

He never had his very own church, temple, or synagogue..  

Jesus  didn’t even own a ministry card.

So How did he do it?  

What was the core of all his success? |

Jesus did the exact same thing that we attempt to do everyday in “Network Marketing”..  

He Taught everyday, ordinary people about a better way of life..

He taught them about a life of Prosperity, and about a Life of Abundance.  

In Network Marketing we “teach people” how to leverage their time, and their energy in order to create a better way of life for themselves, their families, their friends, and society.

We “teach people” how to create Prosperity and abundance in their life by working together for the greater good.  

And we “teach people” how to achieve complete Success, total Financial and Time Freedom by doing one simple thing…

“Teaching Others”..  

Now I‘m not going to get biblical or religious here..

But I just happen read a really great book about “Prosperity and Abundance”  

And in this book there is a scripture.. Timothy 2:2  

And in this scripture..

Paul writes a letter to timothy and he basically says this..

What I..

Have Taught You..

You are to teach other righteous men..

So they may in turn teach others..

Now for me..  this is the “perfect example” of what Network Marketing is really all about…

What I – Level one..  

Have taught you – Level 2

You are to teach other righteous men – level 3

So they may in turn may teach others – level 4

See Network Marketing is not about “SELLING”..

It Is about TEACHING..

If you want to be successful in this industry..

You “teach to teach to teach”…

So I guess my question to anyone that has read this far is..

“How are you building your business”?  

Are you contantly “Selling” the “who, what, when, where, and why” of your opportunity?

Or are you teaching the correct “principles, ideals, and philosophies” that are necessary to succeed?

Are you all about “Hype and Manipulation”?

Or are you putting your hand out to the next person who’s struggling?
